Traceability and Compliance Bottlenecks in Food Processing
General analysis, not a claim of food-sector project experience.
Traceability is a derivation chain, structurally
Being able to answer "which batch did this ingredient come from, and where else did that batch go" is, structurally, the same kind of derivation chain problem described in "The Derivation Method" — one real recorded fact (a batch number at intake) that everything downstream should be traceable back to. Where that chain breaks — usually at a manual hand-off between stages — is usually where a compliance risk actually lives.
